The magnificent scenery of Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route (立山黒部アルペンルート, Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route), which call snow corridor with snow walls reach up to 20 meters high is a unique and spectacular route through the Northern Japan Alps which is traversed by various means of transportation including cablecars, trolley buses and a ropeway. Delighting with the beautiful sight of colorful flowers gathered from around the world, the Begonia garden also offers a photo service conducted by a professional photographer, and garden staff-guided tours. Enjoy a pleasant atmosphere with the eight ponds at Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals.
