  The joy of traveling is always overwhelmed by a feeling of anxiety, excitement, fear and much more as we are often worried about all our possession and property that was left unattended during our trips overseas. We understand your needs and we have put this checklist below to help you to take extra precautionary steps in ensuring that you will have a fulfilling and satisfying trip without worrying about the safety of your belongings back home.

Pre-Travel guide

  • Check expiration dates on your passport, credit cards, medical checkup, vitamins etc.
  • Are Visas required?
  • Is certificate of vaccination / immunization required?
  • Examine insurance policies.
  • Check weather ahead and pack the right clothes.
  • Order foreign currencies & traveler's cheques.
  • Increase credit card spending limit if necessary
  • If you are wearing glasses or contact lenses, do get a second pair on stand-by in case of emergency.
  • Make plans to board your pets, have garden cared for, newspapers and mail pick-up or redirected.
  • Contact a reliable neighbor or friend and let them know that you are away. Leave keys, itinerary with him. Get his phone number in case you need to call him.
  • Set the timer of your flight to be on at certain time of the day.
  • Check your airlines ticket for reconfirmation, special request etc

Protection guide

  • Protect your true essentials - passport, air tickets, traveler's cheque, credit cards, keep them in the money-belt.
  • When checking into a hotel, give only business address.
  • Do not wear or carry expensive watches or jewelry.
  • Use peephole to screen visitor before opening hotel room door.
  • Never leave valuables in hotel room.
  • Never patronize unmarked taxis or enter any taxi carrying unfamiliar passengers. Agree on the price and destination before entering the vehicle if the taxi is not metered.
  • Do not accept food or drink from strangers.
  • Be particularly alert during potentially dangerous times and places.
  • Divide your money and keep it in separate places. Do not flaunt your money.
  • Do not entertain strangers asking for small currency changes. Your entire wallet may be snatched away.
  • Do not exchange currency with street money changers.
